Hi I'm Vince, I graduated with a degree in computer science from UCI. During my time there I lead an engineering team designing drones for SUAS (an international drone competition). After my degree I began my engineering career at Turion Space as a GNC engineer working on autonomous algorithms for space vehicles. I've also published two papers at AMOS and AAS both on space related GNC applications. My vision for this company is to enable autonomous UAS operations for applications in fire fighting, drone delivery, and military applications.
Hi I'm Hewitt from the Bay Area, and I am a co-founder of Aerial Avionics. I graduated from Purdue University in 2024 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After placing third in Purdue's Electric Vehicle Grand Prix, I developed a passion for building optimized vehicle systems through hands-on experience in researching, designing, and building an electric vehicle under strict performance and racing requirements. My vision for Aerial Avionics is to build our flight computer to solve many of the hardware pain points in the industry: overpriced and underpowered processors, difficult to interface components, and limited onboard computing capability for advanced applications. I love to play golf and bowl, so if you are curious about our work here at Aerial Avionics, please reach out and we can chat over a round of golf or bowling!
Hi, my name is Kyle, and I perform the Mechanical and/or Systems Engineering responsibilites at Aerial Avionics. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine, with a specialization in design of mechanical systems. While there, I worked for a critical component CNC manufacturer in the Aerospace industry, where I performed First Article Inspections, automated their bubble print drawing processes, and oversaw the introduction of their laser-marking process to in-house. For the last 4 years, I have been working at AT&T as a design engineer, where my work consists of automating various work processes and building data reports for my team. In my free time I enjoy woodworking, playing guitar, reading sci-fi, and just generally tinkering in the garage.
